On December 8, 2022, ACES organized an event featuring Dr. Kwaku Tawiah of Roche Inc.
Mizzou alumnus Dr. Kwaku Tawiah shared his journey of coming from grad school to his current role as a scientific partner at Roche Medical Affairs.
Dr. Tawiah is a Scientific Partner for Core Laboratory at Roche Diagnostics, where he primarily focuses on the medical strategy for infectious diseases. Dr. Tawiah received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Missouri, Columbia, under the mentorship of Dr. Donald Burke. He also completed postdoctoral training in Clinical Chemistry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is passionate about the fight against infectious diseases and has done some research work on cardiac biomarkers.
