The Association of Accounting Students is a professional and career development club in the Trulaske College of Business. We aim to connect all students to industry professionals and job opportunities in the field of Accounting. Our main initiatives include general meetings with guest speakers from public and private firms, as well as networking opportunities with company recruiters, college faculty, and fellow club members.
+ To encourage communication among accountancy students and the faculty
+ To inform students of the opportunities within the field of accountancy
+ To develop public understanding and appreciation of accounting
+ Have at least five meetings per semester with recruiters from various accounting firms
+ Have different types of accountants come present to members to raise awareness of the different types of accounting (e.g., public VS private)
+ Increase internship opportunities for members
