Mission
As the University of Missouri – Columbia’s only aviation design team we aim to provide students with a professional and inclusive environment to learn about aircraft design, manufacturing, and flight. We give our members the opportunity to apply engineering concepts in an international, team-based design competition and to network with industry professionals. By engaging in collaborative large-scale projects, we give members the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in the field of aeronautical engineering.

Membership Benefits
Participation in the annual, internationally recognized, AIAA Design, Build, Fly competition. Access to the tools and knowledge required to design, build, and fly small-scale, remote-controlled aircraft. Opportunities to learn from and network with members of the aviation industry including employers such as Boeing, LMI Aerospace, Spirit AeroSystems, and Textron.
