(Brothers Rising as Outstanding Scholars) is to empower students through academic support, mentorship, and community engagement while fostering connection between Mizzou and local schools. The organization is committed to promoting leadership, personal development, and educational success through intentional, relationship-based mentorship.
Members of B.R.O.S. gain access to leadership development opportunities, community service experiences, and direct involvement in a structured mentorship program connecting Mizzou students with young men at Hickman High School. Benefits include professional skill-building, networking opportunities, resume-enhancing service hours, and meaningful engagement that strengthens personal growth and campus-community relationships.
