We’ll be creating handmade cards filled with encouragement, positivity, and support for patients at Boone Hospital and Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital. Recovery after a cardiac event, stroke, or other serious health condition can be challenging, and a simple reminder that someone cares can help patients and their families feel supported beyond their diagnosis.
Through this event, you’ll have the opportunity to give back to our local healthcare community, support patients during recovery, and make something meaningful for someone who may need a little extra encouragement. No artistic experience is needed, and all majors are welcome!
What to expect:
- Create personalized cards for patients at Boone Hospital and Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Bring encouragement and positivity to patients navigating recovery and rehabilitation.
- Make a direct impact through meaningful, hands-on community service.
- Earn service hours while connecting with other students who are passionate about giving back.
- Enjoy Chick-fil-A and diet sodas while making a difference!
