About Us
The purpose of Black Book Mizzou is to provide an educational platform for African American entrepreneurs and be a directory for those who wish to support black businesses on MU’s campus. Black Book aims to teach the fundamentals of owning a business while maintaining academic success. Through various workshops and meetings we strive to coach entrepreneurs on how to create an engaging social media presence, effectively advertise services, how to manage finances and operate their own booking resources. A successful business is a business that is always advancing; Black Book wishes to offer a support system for student business owners and the tools that allow either established or aspiring entrepreneurs to continuously meet their goals.
