Join the Department of Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) for a research talk by Dr. Kwangman Ko of East Tennessee State University. This presentation explores how machine learning methods can be applied in family research through selected examples. Using approaches such as regularized regression, random forest, natural language processing, and explainable machine learning, Dr. Ko will highlight key insights and practical lessons from integrating these methods into family science.
