Mission Since 1995, the Community Engaged Learning (previously known as the Office of Service Learning) is here to provide opportunities and academic credit for community-based learning to promote lifelong commitment to social responsibility and citizenship. Community Engaged Learning at MU strives to create civic, professional and social responsibility while enhancing the students’ personal growth and enriching the lives of persons within the community.
