Productive discussions don’t just happen—they’re facilitated with intention. This workshop equips TAs with practical strategies to lead engaging discussions across disciplines and formats. We’ll cover techniques for asking effective questions as well as navigating common challenges like silence, dominant voices, or disengaged students. Whether you're facilitating discussion or recitation sections or online forums, you'll leave with tools to foster meaningful dialogue and active learning.
