Details

Effective teaching is not about perfection but about continuous growth. This interactive workshop introduces teaching assistants and postdocs to the practice of reflective teaching: a powerful approach for examining instructional experiences, understanding student learning, and making intentional improvements over time. Participants will explore practical reflection strategies that can be used before, during, and after teaching, learn how to gather and interpret feedback from students and classroom activities, and develop a personalized plan for ongoing professional growth. By cultivating habits of reflection, educators can enhance their confidence, effectiveness, and ability to create meaningful learning experiences for their students.
