All new Well-Being Peers are required to be trained as a Certified Peer Educator (CPE). We are holding a free accelerated CPE training on Saturday, February 7th from 9:30am-5pm. You may register for this accelerated CPE training at https://cglink.me/2ny/r443853
Well-Being Peers are certified peer health educators who aim to provide student-centered, inclusive outreach, education, and advocacy on topics like alcohol and substance abuse, mental health, sexual health, and healthy relationships. This is a sponsored program that is coordinated by staff from the Wellness Resource Center and Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Center. The Well-Being Peers empower University of Missouri students to make intentional, informed, and individual decisions related to their overall well-being by providing a non-judgmental environment to learn, relate, and discuss specific topics and be informed of available resources.
