Join Sustain Mizzou for Water Week April 7-13. From film screenings and fieldtrips to speaker panels and service opportunities, we’ll be showcasing the importance of water while providing opportunities for students to learn, lead, volunteer, and get involved.

Test your courage, climb the Alpine Tower and enjoy yard games and events. No climbing experience needed!

Global Bazaar
April 11 | MizzouRec North Courts | 6-8 p.m.
Enjoy a taste of different cultures through a street vendor-style food market with everything from candy to authentic cuisines as well as fun cultural games. Prize and goodie bag opportunities.

BYOBook Club
April 16 | 114A Ellis Library | 4-5 p.m.
Join a group of avid readers and discuss your least favorite element of your current book! All individuals and books are welcome.

Crafting Community Care: A Zine-Making Workshop
April 16 | LGBTQ Resource Center in MU Student Center | 4 to 6 p.m.
Make your own history by creating a Zine (small, self-published magazine) while learning about the impact and history of zines in the LGBTQ+ community.

Sing Who You Are: Pride Month Karaoke
April 29 | Multicultural Center in MU Student Center | 3 to 5 p.m.
Warm up those vocal cords in an interactive Karaoke experience where you'll navigate the relationship between the LGBTQ+ community and music. 

Volunteer Opportunities

SEC Food Fight
April 1 to 15 
Help Mizzou win the SEC Food Fight! Join the fight! Donate money, meals, and non-perishable items to Tiger Pantry and support all Tigers experiencing food insecurity. 

Habit for Humanity Garage Sale
April 3 to 5 | Broadway Chrisitan Church | 7:30 am - 8 p.m.
Sign up to assist with the set-up of the sale and operational needs throughout this garage sale that benefits local non-profits and Habit for Humanity. 

Caring, Bearing, Sharing
April 7 | MU Student Center | 5 - 7 p.m.
Donate $10, 5 canned food items, or 2 meal swipes to receive a stuffed animal of your choice to stuff. All proceeds support Tiger Pantry. 

Caring for Columbia 
April 12 | Tradition's Plaza | 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Give back in Mizzou's largest day of service! There will be opportunities to volunteer at a variety of sites across Columbia as a group or an individual. 

Volunteer: Earth Day at Peace Park
April 27 | Peace Park | Noon - 10:30 p.m.
Volunteer to assist with shifts coordinating children's activities with COMO Parks and Recreation.

empowered Overview Session
April 17 | RSVP Center in MU Student Center | 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Learn different ways to intervene, support survivors, and navigate community and institutional resources. 

Denim Day
April 23
Wear your denim or Denim Day pin (available in the RSVP Center) to be part of a united message that everyone, no matter what they wear, deserves safety and respect without question. Sharing your support on social media using the hashtag #MizzouDenimDay and tag @mizzoursvpcenter.

Complete the Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM) Student Issue Survey. Responses from this 3-5 minute survey will help inform our policy and lobby efforts. Due April 11. 

Apply to be a Welcome Week Leader! Leaders are responsible for assisting our incoming Tigers in their transition to campus and navigating Welcome Week events and festivities.
