Mission
We provide students with experiential learning opportunities that educate them in oral communication, argumentation, advocacy, performance art, and related skills. Both within and outside of competition, our team seeks to cultivate critical thinking skills in its membership, and to empower students from a variety of backgrounds to apply their skills for the betterment of the world.

Membership Benefits
We participate in competitive speech and debate, meaning you'll have the opportunity to travel, earn recognition, and network with students across Missouri and across the country. Our members participate with a number of different goals in mind, so while all members will have the chance to improve their public speaking skills, you can choose to participate in events with a strong performance aspect or work to improve your research skills. All members have opportunities to earn service hours by working with Columbia High Schools.
