Mission
The purpose of this organization is to provide MU students with a safe space and support system full of other students who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Through meeting new people, to talking about individual experiences, the hope of this organization is to help make grief feel less lonely. Due to the nature of why this organization was started, there will be a few focused meetings on grieving a parent/guardian specifically. Students who are wanting to support a friend through their loss are also welcome to join in order to understand how to better be of support for that loved one. We recognize that the Counseling Center has a grief support group, but this is intended to be a student led effort not focused on therapy.
