The Mizzou - Science Policy Advocacy Network (M-SPAN) aims to catalyze the engagement of students and early career scientists in STEAM fields at the University of Missouri-Columbia in science policy/decision-making. Our organization aims to foster an inclusive community, providing connections with community stakeholders, policy-makers, and resources to train and develop new generations of diverse leaders and empower advocates for the role of science in society.
