About Us
We are a group of Mizzou medical students whose goal is to share our love of learning, playing, and teaching chess with the Mizzou Med community. The purpose of the Mizzou Med Chess Club is to provide an open venue for members to play, learn, and socialize over the game of chess. We welcome everyone, regardless of skill level, the opportunity to participate in casual group activities like chess puzzle night, game analysis nights, simul exhibitions, and tournaments. We also would like to give back to the local community by playing and teaching chess to children.
