Stargazing Night Details
Our first stargazing night is tomorrow (9/16) at 8PM in the Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area. Specifically, we will be meeting at the Missouri River access parking lot. Sometimes it is difficult to get it to come up on your navigation app, but putting in the coordinates [ 38.85805983161636, -92.45360780986202 ] should remedy this. Lastly, if it is cloudy we will postpone to Saturday (9/17) at 8PM in the same place. I will send out an email if it is postponed.
We have a special permit to stay past the area's closing (normally 10PM) but we all must follow the rules and conditions or the permit will be revoked for every stargazing night. Basically, do not break any laws or you will have to leave. You are also subject to MU's code of conduct. You can find more details here: (https://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places/eagle-bluffs-conservation-area).
Finally, if you need a ride please reach out to me. We can organize a carpool.
