2026 Summer Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group

The Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group is a week of focused and dedicated writing time designed to kick off or accelerate the dissertation writing process. Occurring in the week after the Spring semester, we will meet each day in the Student Success Center from 8:45am - 4:15pm. Each day will begin with goal setting; morning sessions will then include structured writing time and an introduction to a new tool/resource/approach for the dissertation process. Community lunch will be provided from 12-1pm. Afternoon sessions will offer another resource/tool/approach to the dissertation process before we pick back up on the structured writing time. We will also end each day getting organized for the next day's work.

Depending on where they are in their dissertation process, writers could end the week with 20-40 pages of draft dissertation pages.

**This is an on-campus event, and we ask that participants are able to attend the full week in-person. (In the case of inclement weather, we will shift to Zoom.) **
