VIRTUAL Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group

This is our all-virtual Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group, which will run for 2 weeks in June 2024. Participants will be expected to Zoom in to synchronous morning meetings not to exceed 2 hours (9am-10:30 or 11am). Afternoons will be open for individual writing time.

Writers will learn about SMART goal setting, different writing methods, revision methods, and how to continue their writing process. The Writing Center staff will provide 15 hours of synchronous support over 9 business days. Writers can expect to meet other dissertation writers, reflect on their writing process, and create individual structures that work for their schedule and project.

Writers are expected to attend all sessions for the 2 weeks. A brief synopsis of the planned schedule is below:

Week 1
Tuesday, June 4: 9am - 11am Zoom
