Gain hands on experience while completing your health science internship requirements on this community-engagement focused program. Shadow teachers at an under-resourced elementary school and experience life from the perspectives of vulnerable learners and those serving them. Learn how the legacy of apartheid and the current social stratification continue to impact people’s health, education and well-being as you explore health disparities through tours of resource-limited and wealthy communities.
