Study Abroad Workshop: Gilman Scholarship

Attend an online workshop with Mizzou Study Abroad and Fellowships and Advanced Studies to learn more about the nationally-competitive Gilman Scholarship for study abroad and how to maximize your chance of being selected. Each session will cover in-depth information on this scholarship and include a Gilman Writing Workshop, which deconstructs the essay prompts, walks you through how to frame your personal story for a Gilman audience, and provides with strategies to achieve clear, vivid writing. You will leave this session understanding how to effectively structure and execute the first draft of your application essay.
