Wheel of Fortune: The Psychology of Money (Financial Literacy Workshop)

People often think making money is a hard science… numbers, formulas, and perfect decisions. But in reality, personal finance is often a soft science shaped by how we think, feel, and behave.

In this Wheel of Fortune–style game, teams will solve prize puzzles while exploring how psychology influences the way we view and use money. Along the way, we’ll pause for conversations that uncover the behavioral biases and everyday habits that shape financial decisions.

Join us for an interactive, game-show–style experience that blends friendly competition with eye-opening conversations about money. No financial knowledge required. Bring the brain you were born with and a willingness to look at money from a new perspective.

Perfect Match: Job Offer Edition (Financial Literacy Workshop)

In this session, we’ll explore the key parts of a job offer that can impact your financial wellbeing, including compensation, cost of living, taxes, retirement plans, health and insurance benefits, paid time off, and workplace culture.

Then we’ll put your decision-making skills to the test in a Bachelor-style “Perfect Match” activity where you’ll compare several potential job offers. As new information is revealed, you may find yourself changing your top choice. The goal is to show how looking beyond salary can completely change which job offer is truly the best fit.

No prior knowledge needed. Just bring your instincts and see which offer gets your final rose. 🌹

You’ll learn:
