How to Write Your Artist Statement (5 February 2025) (S.T.A.R. eligible)

Are you an artist or creator? Do you plan on submitting projects to art shows, museums, galleries, or exhibitions? If ‘YES’ then you need to know how to communicate about your work and yourself through a well written, concise Artist Statement. This session, designed for students applying to the Visual Art & Design Showcase, will be beneficial for any creator planning to professionally communicate about their work, creative process and self.

Join the Zoom meeting from a Mizzou-authenticated account. Participation in this presentation will be applied to the S.T.A.R. recognition if attendees 1) are present for at least 40 minutes of the presentation and 2) join breakout room discussions.
