Beyond the Pink: Stories, Strength & Sisterhood

Join Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) @ Mizzou, in collaboration with Women of Color in Health Care (WOCHC), for Beyond the Pink: Stories, Strength & Sisterhood, a special gathering in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

This event is designed to bring students together in a relaxed, welcoming, and interactive environment to raise awareness about breast cancer, celebrate survivors, honor those affected, and encourage meaningful conversations about breast health and the importance of community support.

Participants will enjoy engaging activities, including a "Pink Myth Jeopardy" educational game, a "Know Your Girls" breast health workshop focused on body awareness, family history, and knowing when to seek medical attention, a creative pink-themed tie-dye activity, and a "Letters of Hope" session to share encouraging messages with breast cancer patients and survivors.

Come dressed in pink, ready to learn, connect, create, and make a difference! All are welcome!
