To provide a forum to raise awareness of and to discuss women's and gender inequality issues in the law. To serve as a support group for women in the legal profession. To provide a network of communication for both men and women who are interested in women's issues in the law (including alumni, pre-law and law students and members of the community). To advocate for gender issues in the general community through awareness, donations, and service.
The Women's Law Association of the University of Missouri connects their members to a wide network of legal professionals and supports them throughout their law school career and beyond. Our primary goals are to raise awareness around gender issues in the legal profession and serve our community through advocacy, education, and volunteer work. Membership in WLA has many benefits including scholarship awards, leadership development, and networking opportunities.
