Students participating in Paint the M event at Faurot Field Aug. 20, 2021. Sam O'Keefe/University of Missouri

Every year during Welcome Week, incoming Tigers paint the Rock M at Memorial Stadium, a tradition that began in 1927. Students will also have the opportunity to decorate a souvenir rock to commemorate the experience.
