Sandra Balatkova was seconded to the Operations Division at NATO HQ by the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic on February 1, 2023, where she focuses on practical cooperation between NATO and the Republic of Moldova. She has been working in the defense field since graduating university in 2018. Between 2018 and 2022, she worked in NATO’s international staff on multinational capability cooperation efforts. Prior to her current post, she led the Office of the Deputy Minister for Defense Policy and Strategy, at the Czech Ministry of Defense.

Campbell Massie acquired her Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at our very own Mizzou! She also earned her Master's of Business Administration at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Massie was promoted from Manager at GSMA to Director of Public Policy in North American in February of 2022. GSMA is a telecommunications company focused on "global organization unifying the mobile ecosystem to discover, develop and deliver innovation foundational to positive business environments and societal change."

Andrew Karns studied at The Johns Hopkins University and Sciences Po where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Romance Languages and his Master's Degree in International Affairs respectively. With previous experience as a Staff Officer at NATO, Karns has been working as a Political Affairs Analyst at the U.S. Department of State since January 2022.

Justin Mohn achieved a Master of Arts in Security Studies at Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at Mizzou! Mohn completed an internship at NATO directly after graduating with his masters. Now he works as the Capability Delivery and Armaments Staff Officer at NATO and has since January 2020. Mohn led a team in translating Alliance climate goals into projects previously. He has also created high-level policy narratives and worked with experts to address urgent priorities during his time at NATO.
