Trulaske Edge Event Submission for Student Organizations

Complete the form below for consideration of partnership for Edge events in the Fall 2024 semester. Please note the following guidelines:

  • Events must be submitted to the Edge team at least 2 weeks in advance.
     
  • Student organizations can host one event per semester at this time.
     
  • The event must be open to all Trulaske students and at least as many non-org student members able to participate. Ex: if you have 25 student org members, you need a room that has space for 25 additional attendees.
     
  • Edge points are a degree requirement, so all Edge events must have a faculty or staff member present (Trulaske student organization advisor) for the duration of the event and to ensure an accurate attendance record is captured.
     
  • Any event with food needs a food permit. (Click here for information)
     
  • Rooms must be returned to how it was prior to event (clean up trash, move chairs and tables back, etc.). Your group is responsible for the room. Report anything that happens.

Additional instructions for the previous question. If Edge handles registration, registration will open two weeks before the event and close at the time of the event. Reminder emails are distributed four hours before the start of the event. If your team handles registration in your MU Engage group, please be sure to add us as cohosts once the event has been approved for Edge points by the Edge team.
