About Mizzou Alternative Breaks

Join a 2026 Spring Weekend Trip

Mizzou Alternative Breaks is a student-led program at the University of Missouri, offering service trips over Weekend and Spring Breaks. Trips have various service focuses and are led by two site leaders. All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply as a Participant or Site Leader!

Participants attend MAB trips with fellow students. They find out who their group is, their service focus, and where they will be serving at orientation! Participants gain transferable skills, a meaningful experience, participate in impactful projects, and can meet fellow students with similar interests and passions! Ready to get out and give back? Complete the quick application below!

Site Leaders plan and organize MAB trips for their group with the support of the MAB Executive Board at regular meetings. Site Leaders are so important in making MAB trips happen, as they plan all of the logistics and bring their group together before, during, and after the MAB trip experience. Gain leadership experience, plan impactful projects, and inspire fellow students. Your leadership can make a significant impact. Ready to lead and inspire? Apply now!

Need-based scholarships are available. We will let you know if and how much you qualify for when we notify selected applicants.

Trips will be required to fundraise to reduce overall trip expenses and help continue the MAB program.
