This panel will feature three faculty members from different academic units at the University of Missouri, the Classics Department, the School of Languages, and the Peace Studies Program, along with a faculty librarian from University Libraries. Each participant will share their research interests, methods, and perspectives, demonstrating the richness of Arab American and allied scholarship across disciplines. Although their academic work may not directly focus on Arab American Studies, their participation highlights the diverse intellectual contributions of scholars connected to the Middle East, Mediterranean studies, languages, cultural studies, peace and conflict studies, and knowledge stewardship. This event emphasizes that Arab American Heritage Month celebrates people, voices, and stories, not only specific subject matter.
