Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group

The Dissertation Acceleration and Navigation Group is a week of focused and dedicated writing time designed to jumpstart the dissertation writing process. Occuring from Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 24, we will meet each day in the Student Success Center from 9am - 4pm (with a half-day on Friday, 5/24). Days will begin with goal setting and introductions to process tips for for the dissertation adventure. We will then have structured writing time with scheduled breaks before we break for lunch (provided). The afternoon sessions will pick back up on with another presentation on an associated topic, sometimes from outside guests, before launching back into structured writing time. Each day will end with getting organized, reflecting on successes, and creating a plan for the next day.

Depending on where they are in their dissertation process, writers could end the week with 20-40 pages of draft dissertation pages.

**This is an on-campus event, and we ask that participants are able to attend the full week. If you are interested in a Zoom event, that will occur at the beginning of June.**
