Tap Day 2025

Join us for the 98th annual Tap Day tradition on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at 3pm in Jesse Auditorium.

Since 1927, Tap Day has celebrated some of MU's exceptional students. Each year, a small group of students are selected (or tapped) by their peers to join one of MU's six secret honorary societies. These societies include QEBH, Mystical 7, LSV, Mortar Board, ODK and Rollins Society. Students are selected for excellence in academics, leadership, and service on campus and in the community. The identities of these new initiates are kept secret until Tap Day, when the are publicly revealed. Each society also honor taps MU staff and faculty members who have contributed significantly to the university.
