Help us improve our recycling and composting efforts on campus and learn more about how to be a zero-waste sustainable citizen!

Come join us for "Trash Talk" with Sustain Mizzou and small-scale waste audit. In addition to learning more about key sustainability efforts, student volunteers can help sort bags of waste/recycling and weigh and record the different types of materials. Waste audits help identify where we may need to focus communication efforts to educate students, faculty and staff on the reduce-reuse-recycle hierarchy and what can be recycled on campus. It also helps to improve the recycling process! We will provide gloves, safety glasses, and aprons. Volunteers are asked to commit to a 30 minute to 1 hour sorting shift.
