Come for the seminar, learn about the GPC Case Competition (and how to win up to $500 per teammate), enjoy pizza, and stick around for a quick networking session.
Led by Dr. Chuck Burgess, Assistant Director for Outreach and licensed psychologist, the “Excellence in Challenging Times” seminar will help you strengthen your mindset and collaboration skills.
You’ll be able to apply these skills in your lab or classroom or bring them to the Case Competition if you decide to participate. The Case Competition will start in December!
During this event you’ll also:
• Learn about the Interdisciplinary Case Competition structure and how to participate.
• Hear alumni insights and success stories from past competitors.
• Connect with graduate and professional students from across campus.
The Case Competition aims to:
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration
• Enhance critical thinking and problem-solving
• Promote ethical decision-making
• Stimulate innovation and creativity
• Facilitate networking and industry exposure
About the GPC Case Competition:
Your team will act as consultants for the university. You’ll receive a real-world problem scenario in December and present your solution in January.
Come ready to grow, collaborate and get inspired! This is your first step toward excellence!
