New Graduate Student Orientation

The Graduate School holds one large general orientation session at the beginning of each Fall semester.  Students beginning graduate study at MU in the preceding semesters are also welcome to attend.  Graduate School’s new student orientation for the Fall 2024 semester is being held in person,  on campus, the morning of August 12, 2024 from 8:30 AM- 10:30 AM in Jesse Auditorium.  Dr. Jeni Hart, Dean of the Graduate School, will welcome you to graduate study at MU, introduce you to the ways in which the Graduate School can assist you as you pursue a graduate degree or certificate at MU, provide important campus updates, and hear from our panel of experienced graduate students and faculty mentors.
Registration is not required for this event. Although attendance is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all new graduate students to attend if their schedule permits.
