The mission of the Financial Planning Association is to connect students with professionals and leaders within the financial planning industry. We strive to bring a diverse range of speakers that all students will be interested to hear from; this includes everyone from career professionals with decades of experience to former Mizzou students who are just starting out.
Members receive access to in-person presentations and discussions from leading professionals within the financial planning industry. Members may also participate in scheduled trips/conferences where they will gain access to a wealth of knowledge provided by various financial firms. Our meetings are not always the same and we strive to make them enjoyable for all students. As mentioned above, we often participate in business conferences, host and/or co-host happy hours, participate in golf and cornhole tournaments, and so much more.
