About Us
Many academic majors at MU have their own student organizations, and the Department of Statistics would love to establish a dedicated club to bring our students together. By creating this organization, we hope to foster a sense of belonging for statistics students, especially since many pursue it as a second major or minor. Our goal is to help students take pride in their statistical studies while strengthening the department’s presence on campus. This club will serve as a space for students to connect, learn, and grow—whether through academic support, networking, or career development. We want to build a welcoming community where students can explore the real-world impact of statistics, gain valuable skills, and form lasting friendships with others who share their interests.
