About Us

The purpose of this club is to educate those interested in the medical field, more specifically the imaging field with an emphasis in Nuclear Medicine. This club values education and exploration of the field of nuclear medicine for students who are pursuing or planning to pursue Mizzou's Nuclear Medicine Program within the University of Missouri School of Health Professionals. University of Missouri Nuclear Medicine Technologist Program Mission:

1. Prepare highly skilled, registry-eligible professionals in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

2. Provide extensive clinical experiences and a challenging curriculum that enhances foundational knowledge, critical thinking, and effective communication.

3. Graduate compassionate and caring professionals with a diverse background.

4. Addresses workforce development needs for the nuclear medicine industry.

5. Provide a path for students wishing to pursue post-graduate education.

Membership is open to any currently enrolled student or employee of the University. Members are students who are pursuing a degree or career in nuclear medicine in the University's School of Health Professions or a related career path. As such students, they benefit from interaction, exploration, and further education in the field through this organization.
