Climate Leaders at Mizzou is a student organization that is dedicated to educating in the form of group presentations/speakers and our book club on climate-related issues, advocating for strong climate action in the form of activism, encouraging the University to divest from the fossil fuel industry, and providing a safe space to discuss eco-anxiety and solutions for eco-anxiety.
Hello! If you were a member of CLAM recently, you may have noticed that your membership is no longer valid. This is due to low club participation in general, and as a way of ensuring that anyone who is an official member is also interested in club participation, we have made the executive decision to de-validate all current non-officer memberships. If you would like to remain a member, don't worry! Anyone who attends a meeting will have their club membership reinstated promptly. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our president. Members can expect to have their voices heard by club leadership. Members have a role in shaping club goals, event ideas, and more. Members will have the opportunity to be involved in activism that makes a difference and to be surrounded by other passionate environmentalists.
