Types of College Debate

Most members of the team choose to participate in IPDA, but there are 3 common debate formats offered in our circuit.

LD - High School vs College?

For those with experience in high school forensics, LD, or Lincoln-Douglas, might ring a bell. They're the same event in name only. Collegiate Lincoln-Douglas functions similarly to policy debate. The main difference between LD and Policy is in structure, as opposed to content - LD is 1v1, while Policy is 2v2.
