Social Events
Social events allow students a break from their studies through recreational activities in an Islamic environment. Events may include bowling, potlucks, movie nights, camping day trip, Six Flags, etc.
Islamic Education
Biweekly halaqas and Quran Reading circles are hosted to help instill a consistent routine for busy college students so they can take the time out of their schedules to worship their Lord.
Annual Conference
Our biggest event hosted in the Spring Semester, in which we host internationally recognized speakers to bestow their knowledge upon our community in a two day event including lectures, workshops, Q&A sessions, and lunch/dinner for FREE benefitting over 400 attendees! There will be opportunities for members to participate as volunteers or committee leads.
Islam Awareness Month
The purpose of events in this month is fostering understanding, dispelling stereotypes, and increasing knowledge about the religion of Islam and its followers, Muslims. In October, we invite a speaker to introduce the topic of Islam to the campus community, as well as hold an event called “Ask-A-Muslim” providing the opportunity for students to get any of their questions answered regarding Islam. Finally, members showcase the “Diversity within Islam” through food and clothing!
Ramadan Iftars
In Ramadan, we host iftars two days out of the week for all college students, which is graciously provided by many of the community members.
