Mentorship & Guidance

Members will gain access to mentorship from current law students, alumni, and professionals in the legal field. In addition, UWL fosters peer-to-peer support, connecting members who are navigating similar academic and career paths. Through these connections, members will receive advice on preparing for law school applications, LSAT preparation, and internships, giving them a valuable head start

Professional Development

UWL will provide professional growth opportunities through workshops and panels on topics such as crafting personal statements, effective networking, and interview preparation. Members will also have the chance to engage with guest speakers and practicing attorneys. Leadership opportunities within the organization will further help build resumes and demonstrate initiative.

Networking & Community

UWL creates a strong and supportive community of women who share common goals and experiences. Members will develop connections with like-minded peers who may become future colleagues and collaborators. This community will also serve as a safe space to openly discuss both the challenges and successes unique to women in law.
