Each semester, VCC allows students to connect with professional visual creators through panels, video calls, and in-person visits. And don't worry, we'll make sure you get plenty of LinkedIn connections while you're here!

Travel the Country

VCC takes two agency trips each year! One local day-trip in the fall, and a larger trip to a big city in the spring. We meet with professionals in person and learn what it's like to be a creative both at agencies and in-house studios.

About VCC

VCC was founded in the fall of 2024 with the goal of bringing together the creative minds of Mizzou to explore the dynamic world of visual communications. Our founders, Isaac Lewis and Payton Strobel, wanted a space to explore the visual side within the journalism school. Now open to Mizzou students of all majors, VCC loves to help students learn about visual communications and meet with professionals. We took our first agency trip to Chicago in spring 2025 and look forward to our trips each semester!
