Mission
As students of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) at the University of Missouri, being interested in affairs that affect our collegiate experience, hereby establish the CAFNR Student Council as a means of enhancing our academic and social experiences, providing avenues of communication among students, student organizations, faculty, and administrators, and assisting in the review, establishment, and implementation of policies related to the student body.

The CAFNR Student Council's purpose is to serve the best interests of all students in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources and all CAFNR student organizations, sponsor and support student activities and programs, communicate with and unite CAFNR student organizations, and foster positive relationships between students, faculty, and administration. CANFR Student Council is an integral part of piecing together events such as Fall Round-up and CAFNR Week to facilitate the CAFNR Experience. As a member, you are able to gain skills like collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and so much more!

Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) is an organization that actively creates innovation and entrepreneurship by facilitating the formation of commercialization teams around unique business ideas. While there are many organizations that try to stimulate students to engage in entrepreneurship, CEO's approach is unique in that it actively empowers anyone to pursue ventures regardless of their role or affiliations and without proprietary ties to its platform. The execution strategy for CEO is to a) allow inventors to pitch ideas during Open forums in order to attract appropriate human resources to their ventures b) Create a pervasive internet community where ideas and people interact c) Provide seed grants to early-stage ventures from donations. CEO will assure that all colleges of the university will benefit from the empowerment of starting ventures by having a Leadership Representative from each University college.

Membership Benefits
As a Mizzou CEO member, you will experience several different levels of entrepreneurship through the variety of events that we create. From guest speakers to tours of well-established and smaller companies we provide a perspective on entrepreneurship that you can't reach in a typical classroom setting. We open an environment where you can meet driven and like-minded students that are striving toward being an entrepreneur. On top of that, we have formed multiple relationships within the community where you can actively engage in networking events and meet individuals who have successfully accomplished their own entrepreneurial quests. Along with all of the great things listed above. Members have access to an abundance of resources that can assist in growing their path toward entrepreneurship and several pitch competitions that are hosted by Mizzou CEO.

SERVE, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER those facing food insecurity within the University of Missouri community. We advocate to change the perception of hunger on campus and to offer resources to students, faculty, and staff so that they may focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.
