About Us
The Columns Journal of Undergraduate Research aims to promote the sharing, publication, and dissemination of undergraduate research and creative scholarship conducted by students at the University of Missouri. The Journal seeks to provide a professional, interdisciplinary platform through which students can publish their work, receive constructive peer and editorial feedback, and contribute to the advancement of undergraduate scholarship. We strive to accomplish this through the following functions: Publish undergraduate research and creative scholarship on a rolling basis through individual article publications. Compile all published works into an annual journal volume that serves as the official archival and citation record of The Columns Journal of Undergraduate Research. Provide students with opportunities to engage in scholarly publishing through peer review, editorial work, copyediting, production, and journal management while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across the University.
