About Us

Well-being peers are University of Missouri students working to create a campus culture where students can achieve balanced well-being. We are trained through NASPA to provide student-centered, inclusive outreach, education, and advocacy on topics like alcohol and substance abuse, mental health, and sexual health through group presentations. We also engage with the campus in outreach events throughout the semester, build connections with other students as well as Student Health and Wellbeing staff, and practice skills that will be useful in future professional pursuits.

Mission: The Well-Being Peers empower University of Missouri students to make intentional, informed, and individual decisions related to their overall well-being by providing a non-judgmental environment to learn, relate, and discuss specific topics and be informed of available resources.

Vision: The Well-Being Peers are creating a campus culture where students can create interpersonal connections and achieve balanced well-being.
